Georgia Fort – Lead Reporter/Co-Host of Bearing Witness
Georgia Fort is a two-time Emmy nominated Media Producer and Television Correspondent who is changing the narrative through visual stories about race & culture that build equity. The Minnesota native has over a decade of broadcast experience that spans from public radio government television to national commercial television broadcasting. Georgia graduated from the University of St. Thomas where she advocated for student parents and diversity inclusion. She has three daughters and is married to boxing gym owner and professional boxer, Cerresso Fort.
Anthony Galloway – Host of Bearing Witness
Anthony Galloway, Executive Director of the Arts Us Center for the African Diaspora and Partner at Dendros Group. Anthony combines his skills as a storyteller and musician to bring the experience of marginalized communities to the forefront. He consults around race equity and ethnic studies engagement as well as youth voice and development. Anthony is a candidate for ordination in the AME church, and he enjoys making music with his wife and two children.
Hlee Lee – Producer Bearing Witness
Hlee is an entrepreneur & community storyteller. Having worked in media production for more than 15 years, she launched the other media group (omg), in order to create an entity that would offer production services to community-centric organizations and initiatives, but also to create an environment for other artists and storytellers of color to be able to create and be paid for their work.
Samantha HoangLong – Reporter
Samantha HoangLong is a multimedia journalist based in the Twin Cities. She recently graduated from the University of St. Thomas in December 2020. Her work has appeared at Sahan Journal, Fox 9, TommieMedia, Under-Told Stories Project, and MinnPost. Follow her on Twitter @samhoanglong.

Feven joins the reporting team from a background in community engagement and political organizing grounded in the Twin Cities. She uplifts voices for social change, contextualizing stories with data and global narratives. Feven is from Saint Paul.

Chioma Uwagwu is a first-generation American of Nigerian Heritage. Her writing has appeared in Smithsonian Magazine and Urban Creativity Scientific Journal. She recently graduated with degrees in American Culture and Difference as well as Communication Studies.

Marianne Combs – Managing News Editor
Marianne Combs is an award-winning broadcast journalist, producer and radio host. She was named 2020 Journalist of the Year by the Minnesota chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, and has received multiple awards for her investigative reporting. In 2017 she co-founded MPR News’ Radio Camp, an annual one-week intensive for high school students enrolled in ThreeSixty Journalism, with the goal of inspiring a new generation of diverse broadcast journalists.
